In celebration of National Poetry Month, West Haven Public Schools students were recognized last night at the Land Trust of West Haven “Poet-Tree” Celebration, with winners from Pagels, Seth Haley, Washington, Forest, Mackrille, Carrigan, Bailey, and WHHS. Poems will be displayed along the boardwalk near the bocce courts in the coming weeks. We are incredibly proud of our students 🌿📜

Today, the Bailey Middle School Student Council welcomed representatives from the West Haven Animal Shelter to receive donations collected throughout the school, including toys, blankets, treats, food, and more. They also brought an 8 week old Daisy 🐱 and shared information about the shelter while answering questions from students. We appreciate their time and visit 🐾

Student Council Pet Food Drive
Bailey Student Council is hosting a Pet Food Drive to support the West Haven Animal Shelter! Starting Monday, March 23rd To Wednesday, April 1, we will be collecting donations of pet food and treats, to help the animals in need at the shelter. Let’s come together and make a difference for our furry friends! Every donation counts!

On Friday, March 13, a group of Bailey 7th & 8th graders had an unforgettable experience at the CT Manufacturing Careers Roadshow at the University of New Haven!
Students got to chat with local manufacturers about exciting career opportunities in the field, and even took part in some hands-on activities. Highlights included controlling a robot and getting a close-up look at the inside of a submarine!
